Nov 11, 2022 ● Art & children
Through art, children learn and express their emotions. When a child is given the space to draw or perform some other activity of creative expression, without knowing it, they will be embodying emotions and sensations. Therefore, art is a relevant strategy for education in all areas. These simple skills can make a significant difference in teaching, especially if carried out at an early age, as they enhance children's creative, reflective and critical thinking. The power of art is the topic of our fifth episode, where we will reveal strategies to link art to children's lives starting in their earliest years. 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcast 🎧 Listen on Spotify 🎧 Listen on Google Podcasts 🎧 Listen on Spreaker 🎧 Listen on Podcast Addict 🎧 Listen on Podchaser 🎧 Listen on Deezer 🎧 Listen on iHeartRadio Sept 12, 2022 ● The importance of play in children By playing we can teach children to perform in different areas. This project enabled young children and their families to fulfill social-emotional needs unmet due to the COVID-19 pandemic: working on the quilt enabled families to connect with love through art and storytelling. All quilt pieces were assembled and displayed during an unveiling at the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry. This episode serves as a testimony to the voices and stories of those involved. 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcast 🎧 Listen on Spotify |
