The Tri County Play story walk
On this page, enjoy photos from one of our first story walks! Open-mouthed young children followed a path with their families through the newly created Children's Garden at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, taking in the story The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Fairies a page or two at a time, and then enjoyed interacting with Tinker Bell, Rapunzel, princesses, fairies, a wizard, and more.
Our story walk changes stories monthly! Below see our invitation to an autumn 2021 edition: The leaves are falling... The colors are changing... There's a new story at our story walk at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens! Come to the Children's Garden to read & listen to There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves, a very funny story with a surprise at the end! And while you're in the garden, take some time to talk around and take in the beauty of nature. There are beautiful fall flowers blooming, butterflies and bees pollinating, autumn veggies in the raised garden, and so much more. It's always so magical to come to the Children's Garden! It's a little oasis in our busy region for our little ones to explore and learn. If you visit, please tag us in any pictures! @TriCountyPlayCollaborative |
